Laura joined the Clixworld® team in January of 2010 after completing classes with her dog Jake. She is an Executive Vice President & Partner at MTI Construction Services, LLC. Her educational background is in Accounting and Business Management. From a very early age, Laura has always found a connection with animals and appreciated the unconditional love, loyalty and companionship they have to offer. She has spent time volunteering in the adoption rooms of the Anti Cruelty Society in the past and was thrilled at the opportunity to continue working with the team at Clixworld® and their clients.
She shares her home with her husband Peter, their dog Jake and their two cats Taffy and Roamin. Her hobbies are hiking, wine making and stained glass.

Patrice joined us in 2007 after completing our puppy and advanced classes with her German Shepherd Dog, Annabelle. She comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and experience. She graduated from Western Illinois University in 1995 and in 1998 graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. Patrice is currently on staff as a veterinarian at Gateway Veterinary Clinic in St. Charles, Illinois. She is also a member of the AVSAB (American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior).
Patrice’s interest in behavior began when she acquired her strong willed and reactive puppy, Annabelle. The puppy responded so well to positive reinforcement based behavior modification that Patrice became interested in studying behavior and why things work. Fascinated by applied behavior analysis, her goal now is to help her clients’ pets with behavior issues and encourage more people to seek out positive methods for training.
Patrice shares her life with her husband Scott, and their dog Annabelle. Her positive outlook and medical expertise are an invaluable asset to our organization and we are fortunate to have her working with us.

Ron Chandler, Clixworld® Innkeeper

Ron with his grandson Tyler.
(AKA “The Great Spoiler of Dogs” and “The Human Cookie Dispenser”)
Ron is chief cook and bowl washer for the Clixworld® Inn. Although he shares Diane’s passion for dogs, his skill set lies in the hospitality field. He has spent his adult life looking after and caring for dogs; first with their show and breeding Afghans, and now with the addition of the Clixworld® Inn’s canine guests. He has an inherent ability to make dogs feel relaxed and comfortable. Ron is a talented ear scratcher and is well versed in tummy rubs. Because the Clixworld® Inn is a small establishment, there is plenty of time to give all the dogs several romps in one of the dog yards every day. Ron enjoys playing with all the Clixworld® guests and the dogs know it. You can be assured that Ron will guarantee a comfortable boarding experience for your canine friend. It is no surprise that when client’s come to get their pets from the Inn, they run back to Ron for one last “good-bye".
